SV dress

This is the blessing dress I made for my niece, two years ago. I think this was tissue linen (a 60/linen-40/cotten blend from JoAnn's) and I crocheted the "lace" edging with cotton thread. I added the glass pearls to the edging. Just one row of edging around the bodice, and two rows on the bottom. Her mom wanted things simple, and it was deep summer in the South. Cool was also key. Hence cotton/linen. I used McCall's 3063 pattern, and edging #58 from 111 Easy Edgings by Leisure Arts.
